While the camp emphasizes group learning, we also honor individual interests by offering campers the chance to choose a specialization. This allows for a personalized experience while still encouraging engagement in various activities.
On the first day of camp, campers will choose four electives to participate in during “Specialized Elective Time.” They’ll complete all four by the end of the week, with each elective being available only once per student to ensure fairness.
Electives available include:
Horseback Riding – Learn horse care and riding skills while building confidence
Archery – Practice precision and focus with archery techniques
Fishing – Explore aquatic ecosystems and sustainable fishing practices
Gardening – Learn sustainable gardening techniques from planting to harvesting
Nature Photography – Capture the beauty of the wilderness through photography
Botany Basics – Study native plants and their uses
Outdoor Art – Create art inspired by the natural surroundings
