One of the benefits of attending a small school is the opportunity to participate in athletics. Southern Prep is a member of the Alabama Independent School Association (AISA) and competes against schools from across Alabama. As a small boarding school, the focus of participating in a sport is not necessarily about skill level, but rather the motivation and drive to improve themselves and the team.
