On-Campus Employment Program (OCEP)

About the Program

The On-Campus Employment Program is designed specifically for our students ages 16 and above to earn a modest wage while living on campus. This initiative aims to provide valuable real-world experience, enhance skills, and prepare students for their post-high school endeavors.

  • Hands-On Experience: Students will have the opportunity to engage in various work placements, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge in practical settings.
  • Skill Development: The program will help students develop essential real world skills such as teamwork, communication, and time management.
  • Flexible Scheduling: We understand the importance of balancing academics and work, so we will work closely with students to create schedules that accommodate their needs.

Students must complete the application and interview process in order to be considered for an on-campus position. The Southern Prep On-Campus Employment Program complies with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding child labor.

OCEP Opportunities

Student Life: Assist in setup with after school and weekend activities, as well as maintain and run the Canteen 

Maintenance: Assist in landscaping and various small construction projects around campus 

Dining Facility: Assist with preparing meals as well as serving and cleaning
