We love the new tradition the walkway brings to campus. We love even more that it honors alumni, former and current faculty and staff, and our academy’s faithful friends. Bricks make wonderful gifts, too. Dedicate one to a teacher you loved or a roommate that turned into a brother. Purchase one for yourself to honor the years you spent in Camp Hill. Gift one to a cadet currently on campus.
Plus, your brick purchase will help support scholarship opportunities, extra-curricular activities, and more for cadets living on campus. As they enter Tallapoosa Hall each day, they walk over the names of many of those that paved the way forward. The walkway serves as a daily reminder of the dedication, sacrifice, and love many have poured into the academy since its opening in 1898.
DEADLINES
You can submit a brick order anytime, however, we have 4 set deadlines to ensure delivery before certain events and to reduce shipping and handling fees.
Order deadlines for the 2023-2024 school year:
All bricks are engraved using a state of the art laser technology to ensure strength and durability for years to come.
$125– 4×8 paver, 3 lines of personalization, 16-18 characters per line
$250– 8×8 paver, 6 lines of personalization, 16-18 characters per line
The sale and purchase of these bricks will forever preserve your contribution to the traditions of Southern Preparatory Academy, Lyman Ward Military Academy, and Southern Industrial Institute, and is tax deductible as allowed by law. All proceeds will go to the Annual Fund for special projects, cadet scholarships, and financial assistance.
