Co-Ed Day Camp | Rising 3rd - 8th Graders | June 15-19, 2026

At Summers at Southern’s STEM Camp, we believe that interest is the spark that ignites curiosity, and curiosity is the force that propels lifelong learners and scholars. Our mission is to foster an environment where curiosity thrives, empowering individuals to explore, discover, and grow through engaging, meaningful learning experiences.

Chemistry:

Turning eggs transparent: See chemical reactions in action.
Making slime and oobleck: Explore different materials and their properties.
Lava lamps and elephant toothpaste: Learn about reactions, density, and fun science experiments.
Giant bubbles: discover the science of liquids

Sound and Light:

Whirly tubes: hear how sound waves work
Color projector lamp: play with light, color, and optics

Robotics:

Robot soccer: Practice coding, teamwork, and problem solving
CrunchLab: Build, experiment, and solve hands-on projects

Agriculture (Bees):

Farm visit: Observe bees and learn about pollination and ecosystems
Bee activities: Explore bee behavior through simple hands-on activities

Tuition Rates

DAY CAMPERS

$350 (includes camp shirt, lunch, snack)
$25 application fee (non-refundable)

BOARDING CAMPERS

This camp does not have a boarding option.

Getting to Camp: Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Shuttle

Families may either handle transportation themselves or use our optional shuttle service. Transportation is available each day for $5 per one-way trip ($10 daily max, $50 weekly max).

Parent Drop-off & Pick-Up
  • Morning Drop-Off: 7:30-8:00 AM
  • Afternoon Pick-Up: 5:00-5:30 PM

Morning:

Afternoon:

Our mission at Nature's Wonders Camp is to inspire a deeper appreciation for the natural world by fostering meaningful connections with nature, encouraging exploration.

Southern Survival

The mission of this camp is to teach campers how to adapt to any situation, advance their survival skills through hands-on training, and confidently survive using the knowledge and techniques they’ve learned.

Operation LEADERSHIP

Our mission at Operation LEADERSHIP Camp is to build confidence, spark leadership, and promote teamwork through hands-on exploration of military service and values.
