Southern Prep’s junior school program will be volunteering with the Lake Martin Animal Shelter twice a month this semester. The first volunteer date will be Tuesday, January 28, 2020. The class will be walking dogs, cleaning out cages, and generally helping out around the shelter. The work the cadets do will not only be rewarding, but will also be a part of their reading and science grades.
Lake Martin Animal Shelter, located in Alexander City, AL, is always in need of supplies to help run the shelter smoothly. If you are interested in donating, supplies can be mailed to the school or sent back with your cadet.
