Big news—Southern Prep is partnering with Under Armour as the official brand of our athletic program! Over the next 3 years, we will be rolling out all new uniforms for our sports teams, from practice gear to game day. Athletics are a vital part of our mission, and this partnership ensures our athletes train and compete in top-tier gear while representing Southern Prep with pride.

Southern Prep Hosts First Summer Basketball Clinic

JUNE 28, 2025
Southern Prep’s Basketball Clinic is designed to develop athletes through fundamental skill-building and teamwork. Our focus is on fostering a strong work ethic, improving individual abilities, and encouraging sportsmanship both on and off the court. Athletes will sharpen their offensive and defensive skills through structured drills, competitive exercises, and a 3v3 pick up competition.

Southern Prep Unveils a Brand New Gym Floor

MAY 2025
Thanks to the generous support of Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Anjanette Thomas, our basketball gymnasium is receiving a much-needed facelift! Renovations include a brand-new court floor featuring the Southern Prep crest, landscaping around the building, and repairs to lights and fans.

Rhett Driggers '25 Signs With Brevard College

FEBRUARY 2025
Rhett Driggers, Class of 2025, has signed with Brevard College to play football. He’s also earned a $20,000 per year academic scholarship for all four years—an incredible achievement both on and off the field!

Southern Prep Establishes Wrestling Team

NOVEMBER 2024
Our students asked, and we listened. Southern Prep established a co-ed wrestling team, which competes in state and regional tournaments focusing on freestyle and Greco-Roman movements.

Boys' Cross Country Earns State Runner-Up

OCTOBER 2024
Your Rangers varsity cross country team has earned the title of AISA State Runner-Up! We also want to give a special shoutout to Cadet Jeremiah Loudon for placing 3rd in JV Boys and Cadet Jaxon Lansden for placing 5th in Varsity Boys. We are incredibly proud of this team and all the hard work they’ve put in this season! Keep up the great work, Rangers!
